Kids can make money too. The first job I ever had was handing out flyers for my Grandmother's business. She would pay my cousin and I money for handing out the flyers, as well as a commission (a portion of the money made from a job) for every job she received that was a result of the flyers.
Last summer I participated in the "Junior Employee Program" at my mom's work. We provided assistance to different departments, of the company. We shredded paper, made photo copies, stamped mail, filed papers, and more. I actually was given a special project, which I had to sort all their files from the past three years, by year, by month, and by company name. Then I created file folders and labels for each, and placed them in the necessary filing cabinets or storage boxes. We

basically worked 3 to 4 hours a day, two to three times a week - sometimes less. My mom would take me to lunch all the time. It was great. And you know what the best part was? I made money! That was real cool!
This Summer I have made money by dog sitting. I watch two large dogs who live outside in a "dog kennel." I feed them, clean up their area, give them fresh water, and pet them. I only have to do this twice a day. This job pays the best price per day.
So you see, kids can definately make money too!

Kid's should have a resume too. Although I'm only 10 years old, I have had a lot of jobs, and work related experiences that I feel can help me do some jobs that are usually for teenagers and adults.
Just follow my example, and write your own resume. It's fun, informational, and it's a good thing to have.

Preparing for the summer can reduce the chance of illness caused by heat. It’s a good idea to slow down and take lots of breaks when the weather is hot. Drinking plenty of water and avoiding drinks with caffeine will keep you cool too. Wearing clothes that are light colored will help reflect some of the sun’s energy away from the body. Be safe by keeping cool.
Covering up is the best way to avoid sun damage. A hat and lightweight shirt with long sleeves

will protect skin better than any sunscreen. It’s important to protect eyes and skin and from the sun’s rays. Wearing sunglasses with large lenses and UV protection can help protect eyes. Be safe not to get too much sun by following these tips.
